Why Should You Learn CPR, AED, and First Aid?

People take our courses for all kinds of reasons. Many are looking to become certified for a job where they interact with the public, work with children, or help the elderly. High school and college students often take our courses as a prerequisite to university programs. Or, new parents and babysitters may take a course to learn how to treat children and infants in emergencies.

Whatever your reason, we think the most important reason to learn these life-saving techniques is to help protect others. When performed correctly, CPR and AED can quadruple a person’s chances of surviving serious medical emergencies like cardiac arrest and heart attack. If help is delivered quickly, CPR and AED can also prevent brain damage that can prolong a victim’s recovery time, allowing them to move forward with a healthy life. The more people understand how to perform CPR, AED, and first aid, the more lives we can save.
