Is online training an approved way to receive CPR or First Aid training?

Yes! Online training is now an approved method of CPR and First Aid certification, making it easier than ever to become certified. We have successfully certified thousands of students online including nurses, physicians, chiropractors, dentists, school teachers, coaches, police officers, physical therapists, industrial workers, and more! Safe Citizens Project (SCP) courses satisfy safety mandates for Federal OSHA, State Labor and Industries, and local government agencies.

What training standards and curriculum does Safe Citizens Project adhere to?

SCP training meets or exceeds the 2020 Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) Guidelines and is based on the American Red Cross, American Heart Association® and is compliant with OSHA regulations 1910.151.

Will my employer accept your certification?

Over 99% of individuals who complete our training have their employers accept our certification! SCP’s training curriculum is widely recognized as a valid form of certification by many academic institutions, healthcare facilities, commercial firms, and other employers throughout the United States and Canada.

Can I print my certificate?

You sure can! After completing your training course, you will immediately be able to print your official certification. Congratulations, it’ll look great framed on your wall!

How do I enroll and purchase online training?

On the Home page and Courses page of our website, you will see the courses we offer. Find the course that best suits your needs and click on the “learn more” button to register and pay for that course. Fill out the registration information and make your payment using any major credit/debit card.

Is the exam hard?

No need to stress :) Thousands of students have already taken our online training and successfully passed our courses. Exam questions are prompted in short quizzes following the end of each section, and you can retake them as many times as you need to.

What if I don't pass the exam?

No big deal! You can take the exam as many times as you need to successfully pass.

How long does the training take?

Courses vary in length and can take anywhere from 30-90 minutes to complete. On our Home page, you can find the course you need and view the description for more information.

How long do I have to complete the training course?

You have 30 days from your registration date to complete your training.

Can I stop and start my training course?

Absolutely. You will be able to log in and out of your training course at your convenience from your desktop or mobile devices.

How long are certifications good for?

Most certification courses are valid for two years.

Do you offer group courses?

Yes! For groups of 10+ people we can offer discounted groups rates. Please visit our Group Courses page to request more information. Our team will get back to you shortly.

Can you work with my group to create a custom safety training course?

Yes! This is our specialty! Please visit our Contact page to send us details about the kind of course you’d like to create. In the past we’ve worked with School Districts, Fire Departments, Police Departments, Lifeguards, Coaches and many others to build custom courses and we can’t wait to help you build yours!

Do you offer in-person training courses?
